Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to everyone around the world!

As we enter 2016 we enter one of the most exciting quarters of the year for Avenue Trucks which will include manufacturing completion, delivery of product, and official physical launch of the brand!

It seems like it was just yesterday when we released this idea via Kickstarter and now we are at the final stage of completion and should have that long awaited expected delivery date soon!

Again, we thank you for all your continued support and patience with Avenue Trucks, suspension trucks will be coming to your boards asap!

Happy Holidays! Update!

Hello Everyone!

As the holidays approach and we all brace ourselves for the usual crazy family experiences at Christmas with questions such as “What are you doing with your life now? You got a girlfriend yet? How’s school.. Why don’t you get a real job?” (My family every year for as long as I can remember), If you’re like me.. I wish you survival this Christmas. If you choose to dodge the family questioning and grab a board and skate the icy sidewalks like I will probably be doing… You can embrace that frostbite knowing that soon enough your boards will have that soft ride of suspension that we all have been waiting patiently for the last 7 months.

THE GOOD NEWS – I’m happy to inform everyone that manufacturing has continued to go smoothly!!! We have also been fortunate enough to bump up our manufacturing time to grab an earlier projected ship date!! This means we expect some fresh samples from our manufacturer shortly and will be doing the final signing off on everything. Things will then begin production in larger volumes and that long expected shipping date will be here!!

Also remember – You guys will be getting these trucks FIRST! We will begin shipping starting with all kickstarter orders and going through the list!

So Happy Holidays from all of us at Avenue!

Oh and if these are intended as a gift, below is a printable flyer to let your skater know Suspension Trucks will be coming to them asap

Its A Gift!

Manufacturing Update!

Hello everyone,

Things with Avenue continue to be on a very good road.

A few days ago we met with our manufacturer again in person to discuss all the final production specific requirements needed to meet our quality standards, and finally to establish the realistic, target shipping date to get our trucks out to you guys.

As emails and constant phone calls are an everyday routine with our team and manufacturer, it has left little room for posting exciting and substantial updates, really it all comes down to going through the final stretch of steps, most which have eaten up weeks of time. We cannot risk launching this project with any room for error, and we’re sure you do not want to receive a less than perfect product from Avenue either.

The good news is after meeting with our manufacturer a huge weight has been lifted off our shoulders. They’ve shown us in detail the methods they will employ to produce our trucks and are extremely knowledgeable on our design. They have produced our prototype trucks almost perfectly, impressing our own engineers and design team. After all, they have been producing skate trucks and skate products for over 3 decades, and we are in good hands knowing that our suspension skate trucks will be manufactured with superior integrity.

After the next few phone calls and emails we will finally begin the very first run of suspension skateboard trucks ever produced. Each and everyone of you who have supported us on Kickstarter will be one of the first few hundred people to ever ride and the idea of Avenue Suspension Trucks. In a world of tens of millions of skaters… you guys are the ones who have helped make this happen and put us where we are now.

‘When will Avenue Trucks start shipping?” The ultimate answer to the ultimate question is coming very soon!

Stay tuned everyone!

This will be a small update, but things are going well to say the least! Our manufacturer has been making necessary adjustments to our prototypes and we have been confirmed to receive the new samples within the next week or two.

Once we have these samples in hand we will put them through testing ensuring they hold up to Avenue standards. Once this process is finally finished we should have an idea of product completion and a final shipping date!!!

Thank you guys again for your patience and support, we are extremely eager to get these trucks out to you!

More info very soon!

Manufacturing Update

You guys are probably left wondering, “Where are my trucks?!” There’s no need to worry!

We’ve been hard at work wrapping up the most recent tweaks and fine tuning to the machines manufacturing these trucks. After our initial delay caused by the switch to a stronger alloy for our baseplate, this added a few unwanted weeks of waiting, and believe us, we feel this pain too.Unfortunately in this situation, (the first official run of our suspension trucks) we are held mercy to factors such as shipping times/delays, and locking in the complete final touches to the perfection of these trucks. It took us around 4 years to perfect our design, so having our manufacturer dial these in just a matter of weeks is very impressive and promising!! So far our manufacturer has done an absolute wonderful job of nailing our specs! However there are two very small tweaks to be made to ensure the integrity and performance of Avenue Trucks under your feet. Fortunately these adjustments are minor and very easy to make! We will be receiving another batch of samples sometime next week and then our trucks should be in the bag!! We apologize sincerely for the extended delivery time, we assure you the wait will be worth it.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, we look forward to the next few weeks and the delivery of your product.

Avenue at 2015 Dew Tour!

Our friends over at Green Label Media were awesome enough to bring us out to demo the course for Chicago’s 2015 Dew Tour! We had 3 new riders test out our trucks early in the a.m. They each gave a full interview on how they performed and what they thought after riding suspension trucks for the first time ever. Full video coming soon!
